Morning training is on as normal, however all evening training at BLC and DMU is cancelled due to the LCFC bus parade. Leicester grammar session is on as normal.

Nova Meet officials request

Please see below message from Nova. If you can help please contact Jamie for Nova’s email address to respond.

HiThis is a request for officials for the Nova open Meet. (21st to 22nd May)

The Acceptance list will be on the Website within the next few days and as your club has over 20 entries
we are looking for help with Officials.

As it currently stands we do not have the required amount for this meet to continue.
Please can you send this to all your Licensed officials (J1 and J2 )and ask them to contact me with their details if they are available to help.

Food is supplied and also travel expenses. (Within guidelines).

I look forward to hearing from you shortly and appreciate any help you can give.

Hi Graham

I travel with BA quite a bit with work. Listening to some of the comments this morning about errors at the airport (I have seen and been stuck behind them all:/ ). I thought some parents might find the 2 links below useful.

You might want to point out you only want the guys to have one piece of hand luggage and also highlight sizes on suitcases (see below). It is all covered in both these links and with the 23kg allowance you have mentioned you can work out maximum size etc.

It also mentions liquids and does and don’ts with things like liquids etc.

Anyway hope this helps – ignore if it doesn’t.

A checked bag can be up to 90cm x 75cm x 43cm (35.5in x 29.5in x 16in) – including any bits that stick out, like the handle, pockets and wheels.
